July 5 Found and followed instructions to set up a pull down menu / navigation bar.

Advantage of drop down menu is having multiple pages for users to post and comment in discreet categories. Currently: Home, About, Vision, Community, Campus, Classroom.

Structure of the navigation bar can be changed under Layout by editing the HTML/Javascript gadget, "Menu." After creating a page its url is added here, too.
CSS style controls can be changed by customizing the template: advanced / Add CSS

June 30 First post introducing the proposal. (Its content may be moved to a stable page under the About menu tag.) Currently set up that all can read and comment with no monitoring; only authors can post. Question: Will all authors have full administration/editing rights?

June 20 Researched options for a group blog and found Google's blogger recommended for co-authorship. Using a Google classroom would require authors to be registered in Newman's domain.
